Waiting Room, King's Cross
FancyaPint?'s review...
From the name alone, this hotel annex bar doesn't do itself any favours. "Waiting Room" - no-one likes waiting and the very name makes you impatient. It stands for frustration and it smacks of being transitory: grab a quick pint before you rush to catch the delayed 6:45 to Luton. Despite this, its not awful. There are plasma screens and nice pool table, all set in a room with so many 'clean lines' it makes All Bar One look like a hovel. Kings Cross has a few public house gems dotted around but this, sadly, ain't really one of them.
